In our lives, we are always going to have conflicts. This episode will go into this further and can be applicable for married couples, dating couples, friendships, family, siblings, co-workers, classmates, and more. So, pretty much anyone.

This is not an episode where we explain the step-by-step of ways to handle difficult people or how to get what you want. Rather, it is an episode on dealing with conflict in a Biblical way. And, to do that, we have to humble ourselves & look inward not outward.

We share examples of the conflicts we have had in our lives, growing up and even within our engagement and marriage. One lighthearted example is we go back and forth over the temperature of the house— the A.C. unit. But, then we got real…

There are a few conflicts that we have never brought up on the podcast or on the blog, or even our closest family members or friends know. And we have thankfully resolved it since; otherwise, we would not have brought it up! It may include a smoker and one of us may or may not have driven away from the house during the heat of an argument.

Here are a few things we point out (especially for dating/married couples):

There are lessons to be learned in how to fight better and more fairly. You may not realize your expectations until those expectations are not met. Then, it will come out one way or another.

We share about 5 tips on how to deal with conflicts in relationships in the episode. (And, you might be surprised on what those tips are!)

We reached out to an anonymous follower on how they deal with conflict in their own lives, and their answer is very insightful! So, you do not want to miss it towards the end of the episode!

We are all going to deal with conflict. There’s no way around. It is how we handle it that defines not just us, but what God says about it.

We focus so much of this episode based on this section in James 4:1-6

James 1:19-21, Hebrews 12:14-15, Ephesians 4:31-32, Proverbs 3:5-6, Proverbs 15:1, Matthew 18:15-17 Romans 12:18
